“‘MICKEY MOU$E MADNESS”
Like many of my pieces this one is a mash-up of stories that I find interesting. Mickey Mouse Madness takes a look at a bizarre program between the U. S. Army Chem. Corps and Walt Disney. In the early 1940’s Walt Disney was approached by the U. S. Government to design a Gas Mask to be used by children. The bombing of Pearl Harbor had created concern of a chemical attack and school children needed to be protected without being frightened. Ironically I find the mask to be something you may find in a modern day horror movie.
The mash-up continues with a touch of luxury including my first pair of luxury shoes, Gucci.
