“EXPLOSIVA” the Sculpture #1
 
This is the beginning of the journey. Inspired by a clients love of tequila the “EXPLOSIVA” series was born. This is the first piece in the series, Ground zero. It was an adventure that I will be sure to write about in my portfolio section. 
This special piece was created in multi color resin then painted with the bright colors and graffiti celebrating the regions that Clase Azul was born. Genuine Silver flake was used to accent the cracks and cover the Classic Azul emblem. Moments from the clients life are highlighted around the sculpture to create a personal touch. The use of Silver including the solid 925 silver grenade pull pin is used to celebrate Mexicos rich history of jewelry artisans. The center of the sculpture was bored out to make room for smart lighting allowing the client to choose different level of illumination along with a variety of colors. Transforming the sculpture with the use of light based on the clients mood.
