Fashion Fun: André Saraiva and Virgil Abloh

Updated: 20 hours ago

Adventure in Art -

Fit styled by Johnny Blanco

If you don’t know André Saraiva and Virgil Abloh it’s a good idea to Google them.

In the back alleys from Paris to New York City you can find a winking and walking cartoon character.

These spray painted characters are “Mr. A” and he is the calling card of Andre Seravia.

Andre has risen from the streets to the galleries with originals, limited editions and collectibles being sold around the world.

Virgil Abloh was a bright light in the fashion world that was taken way too soon. He is known for his street wear like Off-White to becoming the Artistic director of Louis Vuitton. He was able to successfully bridge street west and luxury goods.

From the streets to the cat walk...

Virgil's unique style has crossed all levels of society. His collabs range from Supreme, Nike, Louis Vuitton to Moet Chandon.

"Not only am I impressed with Virgil Abloh's style but more importanly his ability to help others rise".

For this fit I mash up these two artists into one. The Adidas collab with Andre Saravia brings Mr. A to life with the message that “The World Needs Love". To solidify this the tracksuit and sneakers are made with recycled materials.

"I respect Andre for going out of his way to use recycled materials in his collaboration with Adidas…”

Then we add the Andre x Off-White collab tee shirt by Off-White. A fun mix of Mr. A and the Off-White arrows spray painted design on the back in teal and pink.

To round it out we go with Off-White sunglasses, backpack, phone case and an Adidas water bottle (you got to stay hydrated).

Hope you enjoy this fit. I know I have.
